Biography:
Philippe Lepatre was a painter and an engraver been born in 1910 in Bucharest. He studied in the Sorbonne, in Paris in 1928. He then took lessons of architecture in Berlin. He began to paint during the Second World War, while he participated in the Movement of the Resistance. He settled down in Paris, in 1953 to work on it. He participated in numerous collective exhibitions, in France, in England and in Italy. Hewas individually also exhibited by numerous galleries and museums (International Center of Art research of Turin, in 1968; the Contemporary Arts Center of Rehovot in 1967; and the Museum of national Art of Paris in 1972).
